Responsibilities

Help recruit, recommend for hire and train positive people to become team members, ensuring excellent customer service.
Motivate, encourage and challenge the store cashiers.
Promote and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Implement and apply established daily operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, well stocked, organized and well maintained.
Make sure all merchandise is stored and displays are attractive, priced, and displayed securely.
Maintain quality branding standards during success reviews
Supervise and discipline store employees in accordance with company policy.
Monitor retail gasoline competitors daily and send prices to head office in a timely manner as determined by management.
Complete daily documents and computer entry within the time limits prescribed by management
Watch for cash surplus / shortage, dwindling inventory and daily departures.
Have the physical ability to perform all the tasks of a store cashier on a regular basis
Understand all the information contained in the daily reports of store operations.
Follow and apply all company policies and established procedures.
Communicate and carry out all requests for price changes, reductions / increases.
Communicate any issues with commodity prices to the Price Book Administrator.
Enforce all safety and security concerns and report all unsafe conditions.
Hold regular safety and security meetings and document the signatures of employees present.
Report and deal with all employee and / or customer incidents or accidents in accordance with company procedures.

Terms & Conditions

Lifts and transports cargo weighing up to fifty (50) pounds while storing shelves and a cooler.
Stand and walk 8-10 hours a day on a tiled or concrete surface while performing tasks.
Pull and push up to fifty (50) pounds to move stock.
Folds and bends to store, cool and clean low shelves.
Performs twisting / rotating movements using head / neck, waist, knees and arms.
Manages cash on hand, refrigerated goods, cleaning materials, equipment and money.
Maintains cash control, must balance ledger to less than $ 1 per shift.
Controls lottery ticket inventory, ensuring customers are billed for each lottery ticket issued to them.
