Henry EMA Holds Dangerous Incident Management Drill – Henry County Times
The Henry County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) was honored to host an All Hazards Incident Management Team Exercise in Georgia in conjunction with members of Incident Management from the State of Georgia on May 18 at the Henry County Emergency Operations Center in McDonough.
As part of a collaborative effort, the state’s team of highly trained and experienced personnel continues to work hand-in-hand with Henry County EMA to manage the response and recovery of a variety of emergency scenarios. This most recent formation involved a long-track tornado scenario impacting multiple Georgia counties.
EMA Deputy Director Kevin Johnson said he is constantly looking to improve emergency operations to better serve the people of Henry County.
“This exercise was a great experience of collaboration with our neighboring departments and our state partners. Our Henry County team strives to continually improve our emergency operations so we can better serve our citizens,” Johnson said.
