Specific responsibilities

Requirements and Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc degree or equivalent

  • Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts

The Red Devils have appointed Alan Herriot to sculpt the statue of the iconic character.

Manchester United have provided an update on their planned statue for former assistant manager Jimmy Murphy.

The Red Devils have confirmed they have enlisted award-winning sculpture Alan Herriot as the person behind the upcoming statue.

In May 2021, United confirmed plans to honor Murphy with a statue for his work at the club between 1946 and 1971.

The Welshman was first hired as a manager before being later promoted to assistant manager under Sir Matt Busby.

He played a central role in the development of young players including Duncan Edwards and Sir Bobby Charlton, and helped guide the club to several FA Youth Cups.

The date of the planned statue has yet to be confirmed but the Red Devils hope to have it completed by the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

The statue will be placed outside Stretford End. United have described the reason for choosing this location as it “will overlook the area where Jimmy used to train the Busby Babes on a training ground made of ash”.

Herriot, who is a longtime Red Devils fan, recently created a statue of USA and Scotland legend Denis Law in Aberdeen.

He was tasked with producing Murphy’s stature following discussions between the latter’s family and family and a coalition of United supporter groups.

Murphy was more than just a manager and assistant manager for the Red Devils, temporarily taking over the reins of the club after the Munich air disaster.

The Welshman was responsible for rebuilding the club’s squad after the disaster and guided them to the FA Cup final in 1958.

When completed, Murphy’s statue will join that of Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson and the ‘United Trinity’ of Charlton, George Best and Law, outside Old Trafford.

The former assistant manager of a bank in Wellston, Missouri, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White on Tuesday to a year and a day in prison for stealing $284,000 in cash.

Capri Duvall, 35, of St. Louis, was also ordered to repay the money.

Duvall pretended to fill the ATM with cash on July 19, 2021, but hid $284,000 in a brown box and took it in her car, she admitted in a guilty plea. After work, Duvall met with cashier Chloe Anderson and security guard Mariah Barnes and split the money. Anderson and Barnes each received $30,000.

Duvall resigned at 12:57 a.m. the next day. She then left town with her three children, Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward Dowd III told the court, and it took officers several months to find her.

Duvall pleaded guilty in May to a charge of aiding and abetting an employee’s embezzlement of bank funds.

Barnes, 30, of Cahokia Heights, Illinois, pleaded guilty in June to the same charge and is expected to be sentenced Oct. 4.

Anderson, 23, of St. Louis, pleaded guilty later Tuesday, after Duvall was convicted, to the same charge and is expected to be sentenced Nov. 16.

The FBI and US Secret Service investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward Dowd III is prosecuting the case.

  • You are the central resource for customer account and catalog knowledge, providing solutions to internal queries from other departments overseeing customer agreement onboarding and catalog ingestion, as well as providing customer account performance insights to internal stakeholders, senior management, customers and their representatives.
  • You will maintain and optimize client account information, ensuring that Kobalt is well positioned for efficient catalog registration, royalty collection and ongoing administration during the term of our client’s publishing and administration agreements .
  • You will work cross-functionally with a range of departments such as Business Affairs, Copyright, Creative, Synchronization, Royalties and Finance, as well as the wider Operations department to support production and accurate distribution of customer royalty statements.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You have experience in an account management role (internal and/or external) dealing with customers, ideally in the music industry where you have developed a sensitivity to confidential information and material.
  • You should have a solid understanding of music publishing, music copyright, performing rights organizations (PROs), digital service providers (DSPs) and the general flow of royalties in the music industry. music.
  • You are a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
