Assistant Manager (Recruitment) job with DURHAM UNIVERSITY

The Deputy Director (Recruitment) will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the recruitment functions of the department, ensuring the provision of a comprehensive recruitment service to the University.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing the service, reviewing and improving activities, policies, guidelines and processes as required. They will be responsible for ensuring that activities are carried out accurately, in accordance with policy (and relevant legislation) and that complete and up-to-date records are maintained.

They will oversee and provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient service; ensure standard operating procedures, templates, checklists and guidance exist and are followed for all processes and systems, ensuring high standards are maintained.

Working closely with the Recruiting Manager, they will manage senior executive recruiting, as well as assist with executive recruiting and major recruiting campaigns.

The Assistant Manager (Recruitment) will be involved in appropriate projects related to recruitment or other aligned areas within HR.
