2022 Conference on the Art and Science of Pain Management – Boca Raton’s Most Trusted Source

The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is partnering with the University of Albany Medical College for the 2022 Art and Science of Pain Management Conference on October 29. The conference will be held at Florida Atlantic University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and on Zoom from 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

This program has been designed to include relevant content in the fields of pain medicine and addiction. This conference will review the latest technologies, science and treatment options that anyone interested in pain and addiction treatment or research should be aware of in order to provide the best care choices for their patients and the context of their studies. Topics include the use of opioids in pain management, addiction management options, the public health impact of pain, and updates on new pain treatments.

Speakers include Dr. Julie Pilitsis, Dean and Vice President of Medical Affairs, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University; Dr. Charles Argoff, professor of neurology, Albany Medical School; Dr. Catherine Cahill, Professor in Residence, Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, University of California, Los Angeles; Dr. Clement Hamani, Senior Scientist, Sunnybrook Research Institute and many other top experts.
